Fumoto valve + winter driving, is it safe?
Hello,
this question goes out to all the fit owners who have had to dig their car out out of the snow after it has been buried by a snow plow! Is it safe to have a fumoto valve installed on the oil pan if there will be some (limited) rubbing of snow and chunks of ice on the undercarriage?
I'm thinking of getting the Fumoto s type valve. It is a special, "stubby nipple" kind that doesn't stick out too much and thus doesn't have that warning "not suitable for lowered cars". BTW, my GD3 fit sport is not lowered but I'm wondering if I should stick to the regular bolt for winter.
Thanks for your replies!
