Kind of surprising in today's market. Hopefully it will be successful for them.

Other countries are not as progressive as the US. In some countries it is considered quite acceptable to make public statements relating to the "fact" that women should not rise too far in the corporate structure, that having kids and being unemployed are great fun, and that as a reward Honda will paint your car pink and give it a constipated nostril treatment. Ok, I've never heard the latter, but the more generic statements .. yes. It's not simply that these are common statements which are considered regressive; it's just that they are entirely NORMAL and very people men or women would find anything strange with them. Anyone in JP provide more color?

So in the same way it is acceptable to have in the US "women's" deodorant (which is the same junk as in men's obviously), it is acceptable in some countries to have "women's" cars. I bet you will find this across the various other JP auto brands too.

 

op- that's pretty normal in japan. women typically like cute things including cars. should see some of the k-cars (not korean cars, small displacement cars) in pink and other various fun colors.

 

Waiting for the "Dude" Fit...

 

they will never have a "guy" fit because it will never come with a stock k20.

 

The back window's too small for a gun rack too...

They should just put that on all Fits. I'd like the windshield at least.

 

All my friends say I drive a girl's car, now that this article came out, they won't stop it.
I think it's funny though, reminds me of the Canyonero F series from the Simpson's.

 

My girl roommate went ape shit when she saw that article on Yahoo yesterday. She wants it in that makeup brown color they mentioned. I think its funny that for the same price as a Sport you can get the She.

And if Honda made a He edition with a K20 I'd go so damn broke to get one.....

I've seen the car a few months ago on Honda's Japan website, but I didn't know it came with thisNice to see they incorporated it in to the climate control system... apparently those are quite popular in Japan to help with the air quality as well.

You could still get the Plasmacluster dome light.

I've been trying to justify the almost $300 price tag (not including Intl. shipping)... might just pull the trigger on my next JDM order.

 

They tried a Lady Benz a few years back that had over sized lighted mirrors complete with a separate center console that would double as a makeup kit. As well they had a Baby Benz...with custom baby seats and a couple extra airbags complete with integrated diaper bins...

Porsche had a Lipstick Mauve colored car as well as a Canary Yellow that was directed at the ladies.
