But really. They tried women specific cars in the past. Top of my head Mercedez had a women specific car as well as Porsche (one year they had a Lisptick Mauve colour)

In surveys....the number one reason a women will pick a car is...cup holders.

i know for sure my wife would not really care if the 09 she uses looked like that or not.
and houses in japan (unless very wealthy) does not look like that in the background... and i am 150% sure if one was that wealthy, they would not be driving a Fit.

I just love how "everyone" (read as corporate designers, or the people they answer to) assume that if something is made "for women" is *must* come in pink (and often ONLY pink). I know for a fact I am not the only woman who loathes the color, especially since it's so much overused for my gender.

That type of car woud never sell here or europe. Only pink cars I have seen here (or close to pink) was old Mary Kay cars and a Miata at the Dragon's Tail owned actually by a guy making a statement based on people saying that the Miata is a girl's car. Which I hear all the time.
