I purchased my first Honda, the Fit in March of 2011...in less than 3 months, I had a crack on my windshield that went straight across, more than half of the window. So I changed it, thinking it was just bad luck. Then, over the course of the next 6 months that followed, dings here, there, everywhere appeared all over the windshield! I have owned many cars before, and never had this kind of problem...HONDA...you really need to address this...I don't travel on roads that have flying debis going everywhere, so Why am I having this problem? Geeezzzz.

I doubt they give a shit But I agree 100%...I had to replace mine 3 months in and the replacement has chips and minor stars....I keep a windshield repair kit in the glove and repair it as soon as I notice it.

but it sucks especialluy during sunsets where even if its clean it looks like shit looking out of it....distracting also...

 

It's not the glass itself, it's the positioning compared to a normal car, it just takes more abuse than most cars. Honda's just trying to get the best aero they can. Made it through my first winter with no major damage. On a side note you can probably get 3 Miata (my other car) windshields out of 1 Fit windshield.

A small stone that hit my windshield a couple of months ago, that I should have repaired!
Today because of the HEAT here in vegas this happened also to my windshield!
