Anyone else wish the gear (1, 2, 3, etc) always displayed. No matter if you are in D, S or S and paddling? Is there any way to change this?

IIRC, in D position, the gearing should only display when you tap on the paddles then turn off after a while. Only in S position does the display stay on once the paddles are activated (once tapped).

But is there a way to change that? When I drop to S it would be nice to see what gear it's in. Currently I have to drop (or gain) a gear with a paddle hit to activate the display.

Fit 2003

I own a 2003 fit for 5 years and am the 2nd owner... Its a used fit from japan..... Never had any major issue.... Only some leak in rear door n it does nt hve an inside boot light....... Handling and acceleration is good for a 1.3 ldsi engine with CVT....
My first car was a 1991 toyota corolla(ee90), sencond an sport mazda 323, then a 1995 toyota corolla first gen, followed by a 2003 isuzu kb280 isuzu pickup, 2001 toyota vitz n finally my 2003 fit....
Corolla and the fit is the best car i have driven so far....
