I got the emblems and trings today. Unfortunately, the emblems are damaged. I am attaching pictures here. I was wondering... Why is it full of fingerprints and scAtches under the glass? I am showing it in one of the pictures. It is really hard to see, but it is there. I am not expecting OEM quality. i am also not expecting scratches and not cleanable fingerprints. Let me know what you can do about this.

Exactly they aren't oem they are replica that is why I sell them so cheap. As for the third picture that is definitely shipping damage.

I know tha they are not OEM and they are cheap. But that does not mean I should get a scratched-up and UNCLEANABLE items full of finger prints. You never mentioned what you are gonna do about this. Honestly, I want to return these items. WIll you accept returns? Or will you replace these items, I mean both emblems, with cleaner ones?

Sorry there are no returns or refunds. I'd be willing to send you a new bigger one for $5 to replace the one that that broke in shipping

The small one is not broken that spot is where the plastic flowed in the moled. The big one is from shipping which is not my fault


I did not e-mail back after that. Not gonna spend more time arguing with this guy, not worth it. What is important to me is to save you guys from the disapointment. It may not be so clear since I can't post the images here. I don't have the "manage attachement" button (is someone can help with that, please). Both emblems are full of sratches, fingerprints in the glass and broken glass to boot. Like I said you, be the judge.

 

He is going out of business now and is slow to respond. I just ordered a console emblem from him.
Do you have his email address? you should be able to attach photos that way.

He has been a good vendor here for a while, so it might take some time. If you paid via paypal, maybe you can dispute the charges.

 

A reputable seller will cover shipping damage and products that do not live up to expectations, even if it costs them $. Reputation is everything.

Upload your photos to imageshack, photobucket, flickr, or another one of those websites.

Then you can insert photos into your posts with an IMG tag, or just use the forum's "insert image" button.

I'm curious how bad the items look because they are cheap knockoffs after all, right?

 

As you can see from the images bellow... The glass is very cloudy from fingerprints. The small emblem has multiple scrtaches, I only circled the longest one and a glass that in my opinion is broken. The bigger emblem has an obvious crack. All of these imperfections are under/inside the glass. I even cleaned the emblems with eyeglass spray and microfiber cloth before I took the pictures. These are the same images I sent Decal Dude yesterday.

No, this is BECAUSE he is going out of business, and presumably doesn't care. Not the way to be, IMO.

Also in regard to shipping, the seller has a responsibility to package in such a manner as to prevent shipping damage.

If DD has anything to say in defense, let's hear it!

Thanks for the warning I hope it works out for you. I hate getting ripped off I got scammed on a forum where I paid like $200 and it was a well known member and everyone thought I was crazy and being unreasonable but in the end he scammed a bunch of people. Luckily I got my money back through Paypal but it legit took two months.

 

Sooo sad when a once reputable seller throws himself to the lowest rung of the lowest
If this does not provoke a response from him then we'll most likely know what his problem is... "Crack"....
