Hi to all my friends here in FF.Wishing to ALL FF members a Merry Christmas and a Happy NEW Year 2012....First...I love to hear music driving. The stereo that came with the FIT is nice and easy to use but i wish that it have more bass.It sound clear and i was thinking to add a car amplifier to the head unit and a 10" or 12" subwoofer.Did any friend in the forum have add a amp to the head unit and a subwoofer? The stock car battery is small and my car is automatic. What kind of upgrade i can make without killing my battery? All help and recommendation is welcome....

it will be fine
as long as your not putting a huge amp into your fit
i mean i have a 500 rms amp with a kicker comp sub
i also added a cap
and im still running a stock battery
so if your installing an entry level system you will be just fine

I had install my upgrade and it sound just GREAT!!!I use the stock headunit and all the factory door speakers are in place.I take the audio signal from the rear left door speaker and make the connection to a Kenwood KAC-X40.This amp is hitting 4 Kenwood KFC-1662s 6.5" (3 way speakers) and a 10" RockFord Fosqate subwoofer. It sound just fine BUT i had a problem. My headlights at night is flicking a little with the bass punch. Some said a high output alternator will fix it.Some a battery alone in the trunk.Did a cap will fix this?.What is my best solution?
Will upload pix very soon.
This is my amp specs. All help is welcome....

Speakers and amp
I put in new front speakers and an amp. Hertz speakers with tweeters. The installers did a super job with the tweeters especially -- they cut out the plastic and now I have nice little metal grill. I have a power amp under my seat as well--something small, like 40 watts I want to say.
I would like to get a new head unit, a sub, and possibly two new rear speakers. It gets expensive after awhile, and the speakers set me back a couple hundred. Would so love to upgrade the whole thing. I find the Fit's small but tall airspace is super for listening on the road.
Oh, and I also installed Sirius radio, with the unit mounted under the dash onto the arm rest/drink holder. We put the antenna inside the area where the wipers are.

I would strongly suggest you upgrade your grounding points on your Fit. Do a search on this site, and you'll see a few different threads regarding this topic.
It's a relatively cheap upgrade, which you can do yourself. It's a good idea to do this anyway, as it's not going to hurt anything.

I definately think you need a boost of power, a cap should do the trick but so could a h/o alt. I notice that my fit is pretty low in power when it comes to load from electronics, even when I put the windows up and down.
I also have audio plans that need to be executed. 12" JL W7 with JL amp, Premier mids and highs. I'm also considering battery relocation to the trunk with an Oddessy solid cell (serious weight reduction from stock battery) to make room under the hood. Probably use a cap instead of h/o alt. I have everything I need except Head Unit and I'm not sure if I will install before I get one or not. Will post pics when I figure out how, hopefully I don't have to use some offsite hosting service like photosuckit.

Sirius install
Hi, do you have any pictures showing where you mounted the Sirius antenna, and routed the antenna cable? I have had mine clipped to the defroster grate, at the front center of the dash where it meets the windshield; it stayed well and got decent reception.
Trading my 2011 Fit Sport 5M Milano Red for a 2013 Fit Sport 5M Milano Red, and this time I want to have a cleaner install.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
