Fit colors
I live in South Florida and the sun is hard on paint. We are looking to buy a new Fit and would like your input on which color would hold up the best. We do not have a garage so it would be outside.
We looked at a 2 year old red one which had minor sun damage so I am kind of concerned. I am kind of leaning towards the Alabaster Silver for this reason.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi Randy,
My Fit which is on order will also have to live outside. I spent a lot of time reading about the different colors because I want my car to look as nice as it can over the years. I chose Alabaster Silver because here and elsewhere silver is the color recommended as most likely to wear well over time, show dirt less and conceal small injuries the best.
Let us know how your Fit journey goes!

I agree the lighter metallic colors such as former fit colors of Silver Storm & Tidewater Blue & current Alabaster Silver would hold up best.
Not sure how well white would do with constant weather exposure since it is not a metallic white. Red almost always fades. Maybe the darker metallics would hold up too. Metallic colors generally keep their sheen. I have a white Subaru which has been stored outside for years and it has sun damage--the white has faded

You might want to check with the members here who own the darker metallic colors to see how they hold up. Different shades of the Blue & Orange metallics have been around since the 2007 Fits.
