Replace the 2007 FIT automatic transmission? Oh No.

I had been hearing a driveline "slap" when I drive the car forward, break, drive back etc. and it was that noise which pointed me to get it up on a lift. I had been hearing that noise on and off for a couple of months.
This situation feels like a new transmission is a distinct possibility.
I cringe at that thought.
So I had my 2007 Fit up on a lift the other day.
I was shocked to hear a noisy bearing, in the differential case where the right side driveshaft fits into the differential case.
I don't want to believe this.
Do you have an exchange program for this transmission?
Is the USA Fit 5 speed automatic transmission rebuildable?
Can Honda supply the piece parts needed to support a rebuild?
