Hey all, now that the 2012 models are out, how much cheaper do you think the *new* 2011 models will go for? I'm thinking about getting a A/T Sport model and from the prices paid thread, it looks like good prices average at around $18k OTD. Would it be crazy to think that I can get a '11 for 16-17k OTD?

probably get them to do 17 otd for a 2012 model.

 

It isn't an issue of whether the 2012 are out... but how available they are.

If most of the surrounding dealerships have plenty of 2012 in stock, then they'd be willing to drop the price on the 2011.

Of course, the opposite is true too...

BTW, there's a 0.9 financing sale going on for 2011 Fits, until closing tonight. It was part of the Labor Day weekend thing.

 

until the availability is wide spread don't expect it. from what I have heard 12 wont be widely available until Nov. Some dealers just got another shipment of 11's here in the East, hard to see them getting 12s for at least another 3 or 4 weeks.

 

I agree. I think the Base is more popular than the Sport right now, so as long as gas prices remain high, you will probably be able to get a good deal when the 2012's are out in October/November. At least this opinion seems to point in that direction as well: Get Honda Fit Prices - CarsDirect
