I'd love to have steering wheel mounted stereo controls and was considering searching down someone able to get and sell some from overseas dealers as its a direct clean install into our GE8's. If the 2012 has the same piece now in it from the dealer then I'll wait a couple months and buy one from the local parts desk.

 

or you can just buy the current steering wheel controls present in the navi model and add a few wires.

 

I'll look into that, I wasn't aware I could get that part from a Honda parts desk, I'll check this afternoon when I go by my dealer to pick up my plates.
