Took The Plunge

Just put some money down and slapped my name on a Vivid Blue Pearl Sport Automatic Transmission Fit. Had a hard time finding this color in my area but found a dealer that has one coming in first half July.

To all you experienced Fit owners, are there any "must have" accessorries that I should be considering? Any programs that the dealer certainly will be offering that are worth purchasing?

Thanks for the help!

don't get those Honda accessories from your dealer. shop online and spend less for the exact same product.

I would disagree with the above. Print out the website pages, bring it to your dealer. If they match the online prices, great - you save time from not having to wait. If not, you haven't lost anything by asking.

Some dealerships will match, some won't.

I would say floor mats and cargo cover are probably the most necessary.

Floor mats and the rear cargo tray were a must for me. I also got trim, exhaust finisher, locking gas cap, bumper applique, and the cargo cover. Got it all online.

The Element locking gas cap works, but I could not figure out a way to keep the plastic tether strap on the new cap. (That is a tough little booger, too!)
I also got the Jazz rear logo, exhaust finisher, all-weather floor mats, bumper applique, and the cargo cover. All on-line for much cheaper than my dealer could offer (the salesman actually suggested I shop on line - maybe a snipe at the parts department? ;-)

I will be looking for a good deal on OEM center arm rest, maybe the roof rack and a good dog barrier that will work with the back seats folded down.

Thanks for tall the great advise. Sounds like the online shopping is the way to go. Still have to wait about 3-4 weeks before it gets here.
