so far all I've seen is ONE fit on the road since I bought mine back in April, it's been almost two months and only ONE fit, and it's on highway...these fit sightings are UFO-like...I feel like taking pictures of these rare sightings and sell them on ebay

 

weird... isn't it? I have only seen three in two months.. black, blue and another red one.

 

Yeah I started looking into them a month ago and paying attention on the road. I only saw one VBP in all my driving around the Dallas area. Now I have a VBP as well so that makes at least two!

 

I've seen one base white on the road in St. Louis - that's it.

 

I've seen ONE Orange parked and ONE Blue on the highway in.....two months! I've seen more silver Porsche Carrera's than that in the last week!

I think Honda is giving them out drop by drop......at least here in suburban Minneapolis.

 

I have seen two of them and both of them were weeks ago. One red one going west on I-40 the other silver one drove thru my little home town.

 

It's only been recently that I've been seeing them more and more.

Can you imagine, in only a couple of years, there will be sooo many Fits on the road that you'll be sick of them.

I had never seen a fit on the road until the day after I got mine(6-14), i saw a silver base model on the highway. Then today heading to work I saw that same silver one. crazy

Other than ones in the dealer's lots (even those are rare), I've only seen one other one on the road as well.

I have only seen 3 since I got mine in April 24th- they are very rare. Good for us though, helps keep resale valur high due to high demand.

I'm from Nor Cal BTW...

 

Who would want to resell their Fit?
The uniqueness is pretty cool.

I've only seen 4 excluding mine. I would think that we could have soOo many more in Houston.. majority of the asians here drive hondas & toyotas. I live where all the asians are most populated that why I expected to see alot

 

hehe I've only seen 1 other Fit in the last 3 months besides mine. I saw a black one at a dealer but that doesn't count :P

 

I too have seen only one. I got so wiggly I had to go get mine (black) and park next to it for a photo. Only had the cheapo camera so low quality image. I feel like a maniacal Fit spotter, always looking for another. From a distance, I keep getting fooled by the Ford Focus.

 

I've seen a Blue Sport AT, a Silver Sport MT, and an Orange Sport (duh!) which I don't know what tranny it had.

I've driven, besides mine, a red base AT, black base MT, and silver sport MT, all at my local dealer prior to getting mine.

 

I've only seen one on the road, and I drive 45 miles round trip every day. The local dealer had a black one (I wanted a storm silver, or white one) on the lot for three or four weeks, then it finally sold. They have had only two since the launch of the NA FIt, and the lack of Fit's has become so frustrating, that I've lost interest in the car.

I have very little interest in the newly redesigned Hyundai Accent, but the local Hyundai dealer got the 2007 Accent hatchback in stock a few weeks ago, and their first shipment was nine cars! I hardly think it takes longer to build a Fit, than it does to build an Accent. It just seems like Honda is dropping the ball on getting this car to market. They can't make money selling cars they don't have to sell, and it appears there are more buyers than cars, so ultimately, they are losing money.

Now I just come here once in a while to look for info on the next gen Fit, but I may end up buying something else because I refuse to pay a premium for a car that doesn't deserve one.
