How much to repaint the Fit?

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to these forums. I posted a week ago about a touch up paint chip repair that I wasn't too happy with, but in the time since then, another chip has appeared on the rear passenger door! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Anyways, I've been reading that the Fits are notorious for having thin paint. I was just wondering what you guys would think it would cost to do a repaint for the Fit? I've only owned the car for three weeks, and these chips are driving me crazy. I'm not planning to get a repaint anytime soon (I'm just gonna touch up the chips to prevent rust), but in a year or two I'd like to know what I'm in for.

Thanks!

I would say $2000-$4000 for a good paint job.

And a better paint job will start around $5,000.00.

*long whistle* $5000 is like a third of what I paid for my Fit! What do you guys do to keep your Fit's paint looking good? I tried the factory touch up and it's totally blah.

unless you're getting a custom color, just keep touching it up. it's a Fit... aka workhorse. it will have chips and dings.
