Your Worst MPG?

Just wondering what everyone's worst mileage has been. I'm thinking us Cali boys will win this competition, just cuz our gas sucks.
After 3 fillups, my worst is 26.5. Best so far is 30.

I filled up today. It took 9.5 (with the gas light on) and that tank I got 370 miles on this tank. 37.1 MPG!

I think my worst was around 26mpg.

At my best I averaged 39mpg and that was with 90% FWY driving.

24 mpg in a Fit? That is pathetic. You could get a Mustang GT and get better mpg. Something wrong.

well it seems that as the car gets broken in, the gas mileage will improve. So don't give up hope yet!

Short trips of only 3 miles don't allow the engine to warm up enough, wreaking havoc on gas mileage. Hopefully it'll improve when you take some longer trips!

I'm at 1750 miles with I think 7 fill ups so far. The best I have been able to get it 28 MPG. I drive around 325 miles a week with my normal day to day stuff. I was hoping to get at least 32MPG average so that I only have to fill up once a week, but so far I have no such luck. I try to drive good, and have even suffered with no AC to see what was wrong; I still cannot figure it out. It has however been progressively getting better with each fill up. Initially I was only getting 24 MPG.

By the way, Its a Sport Automatic.

my worst was at 24 MPG, doing mostly 90% city with no A/C auto transmission and 35 psi on all tires...been getting better MPG with each fill up as well, the best so far is 27 MPG at 800 miles now...stupid NY metro area gas blend...hopefully after a full break in with mobil 1 syn oil will get better...4 more MPG to reach the 31 MPG mark for city driving...

Wow, looks like I'm not the only one who can't get the stated city mpg on the freeway. How's everyone else doing?

I got 27.8 mpg on my last tank (8.6 US gallons fill-up)-- all around town and commuter stop-n-go freeway, and I was driving like a maniac sometimes too, just to see how bad the mileage could get. Of course I could do worse, but that's pointless. My average is 32.1 mpg to date.

Angry Not so hot gas mileage

I to am having trouble breaking 30mpg. Worst 27.6 and best 29.8. Last tank 29.4 almost all freeway driving at 70mph. Broke 1,000 miles on that last tank. Hoped to average 32.

Was at the dealer and they had a Civic hybrid listing 49/51, $22,000 sticker with a $2,000 markup $7,000 more than the Fit! I'll take my 29.4 and drive a hundred thou on the $7,000 difference and have a more useable cargo area and less cramped cabin than the Civic. But I do wish I could get in the 30's, being a sub compact you'd expect that!

After driving 800 miles this weekend, I finally got 35.1 mpg. That was 90% freeway. It was better than the 25mpg I got earlier in the week.

i've also gotten 24 mpg on my third fillup. I was very suprised at that, double checked the math and it was indeed 24 mpg. My fourth fill-up averaged 28 mpg. I drive mostly city with the AC on. It's kinda of disappointing.
