Jazz vs Fit

I know that the Jazz is the European version of the Fit and I've seen the differences in the interior, but on every video I've seen on the Jazz, it looks like the Base Fit. Does the Jazz not come in the Sport version or something similar?

also the european fits come in different models from america. not just base and sport.

also also, non-north american fits have different rear bumpers and front ends. they are about 6.5" shorter overall

Don't know much about the European spec Jazzes but after a quick google with the key words "Jazz VTi" two different models came up; the VTi and the VTi-S. Aesthetically speaking, they look similar to the Base and Sport packages we have here. Mechanically speaking, I couldn't find a difference.

Here is a of some factory Jazzes that don't look like base models.

Hahaha that's my photo

Those are post-facelift GD3s on the left and right, they came with that front bumper as stock (foglights optional). The one in the center is a pre-facelift GD1 with a chin installed.

Haha, I had a feeling you posted this picture originally. I use it in computer slide show and Random Fit Pics folder on my iPod, hope you don't mind.

eps module upgrade

Hi! mates, i need some opinions about what procedure to be done, here's the steering upgrade i made:

1. eps module from a honda city/fit aria.

2. a proper wire harness for the eps module

3. a proper rack and pinion that has 3 pin torque sensor which i think is universal, since it was use in s2000, civic fd 2.0, and crv 2010 2.0

problem: obd ii can not access the new eps module but it has power and still asking for a reprogramming. checking all the wires and continuity are there and there are no blown fuse.

note: the unit is a jdm gd1 1.3 cvt and has ecm/pcm that are stock from jdm.

hmm, not for the (Italian) GD. Aside from trim levels and engines , I found these:
- different rear suspension (the reason why progress sway bar doesn't fit)
- rear discs instead of drums
- different ecu and related harness
