I believe I remember a poster saying that 99% of the owners or 99% of people in general would say the Fit seats are uncomfortable. Interesting that the numbers here show that pulled from ass statistic as just that straight up ass.

And sometimes people don't know what is good for them, that's why the goverment must tell us what we have to do in certain domains.

You lost your argument and now you just want to go into some kind of kindergarten name calling scheme. Grow up already and just admit to being wrong with your pulled out of ass statistics. 85%, so far, responding either feel the seats are comfortable or neither comfortable or uncomfortable. Far cry from 95% saying the seats would not be good.

lol if we were honda/vtec fanboys we would have bought something besides an econobox. we would have gotten something with a k20a or f22c.
im not even a fanboy im just a car nut who likes to drive. i never had anyone complain when they sit in my car for the first time. they just say, damn this thing has s#!t load of room for a subcompact.
i have to admit the seats in the fit does not accommodate all body types but, for me the seats are comfy enough that i can drive 7 straight hours and sleep in them right afterword for another 4 hours and not have any back pain.
if you want comfy seats that can generally please most you should swap in a benz S class heated+massaging driver's seat.
one more thing, i live in cali where a big chunk of the population drive subcompacts and hybrids. i see many fits everyday, its a mix of elderly couples and young college students. i doubt seniors would purchase a vehicle that has uncomfortable seats.
p.s. if it bothers you all that much there is one thing that can solve your problem.
it works every single time. this problem solver is called MONEY. so whip out that cash and buy an aftermarket seat. SO easy isnt it? now quit calling forum members fanboys. we are enthusiast that like to mod and drive our cars. be it honda or nissan or bmw or etc.

Place him on ignore, and he will eventually find somewhere else to vent his personal frustrations at.

The Fits seats seem about normal for Japanese cars - Asians cars in general have so-so seats. Detroit may make some unreliable junk, but they can properly sculpt a seat. In fact, ergonomic fit in general seem better in American cars, crummy details aside. They don't put the steering wheel so close to the dash (telescope g columns have fixed this to large extent), and clear more space around the pedals (if I'm wearing my boots, I have to carefully angle my foot in the gas, otherwise, my toe hits the box with the electronic parts.)
Te exception would be cars like the Accord that were specifically designed for USDM. I've always just chalked it up to the wee size of the majority of Japan's inhabitants. You can slide the seat around, but physically, it's about a 9/10 scale. I love the feel of compact Japanese cars - love how they drive, love their charm. Little seats with too-short cushions and limited legroom are challenges that go with the territory.
I had a GMC truck for a few years. Crap-box engineering, but the the comfort was awesome!

And aftermarket seats... I would loose the side air bag no? It must be illegal.
And I'm not working at subway, I'm paid to street race an echo hatchback (delivery). The echo doesn't have great seats but since they are soft they forgive more the lack of design/engeneering.
