A couple of new pics with 5% tint.

Looks great on your car!
Personally I prefer one step above your darkness because I do alot of driving at night and occasionally in some pretty crappy weather(downpours and snow) where having some visibility helps and rolling down the windows isn't much of an option...

Nice job. If you live in a state that allows you to tint the front windows you are lucky... I live in a state that requires 30% tint for front windows whereas other windows dont have limits. My rear windows are 50% and the small rear windows and back are 5%.
Dont have a Big Fit if you are limited to a job like I did and I also like to tell you my windows look great. My windows blend nicely they look like a custom job. Tint just looks good on the Fit.

It's a film that they measure and cut to the window, then peel off a backing
and apply with soap and water. It's then 'squeegeed' on to get the moisture out and then it dries. My brother did window tinting for about 15 years.
Maybe he can still get me a good deal....

I think the 5% figure is the percentage of light it transmits through the film, so it's blocking 95% of the light. For instance, Virginia law limits you to 50% on the front-side windows, and 35% for the rear-side and rear windows, with a maximum of 20% reflectivity. So, you can block 50% of the light up front, and 65% of the light in the rear.

The % number is the amount of light that passes through the tint, in Oregon the max is 35%.
