blaze orange...heresy?

let me first say that YES, it's a very cool color.

but was anyone else surprised by how light it looks in person? we (i work at a honda store) finally got one in yesterday and it looks nowhere near as dark as the brochure and web pics. just curious about other reactions...

I've noticed some of the Honda brochure and website pictures have made it look too citrus...too General Lee orange. It's definitely much more muted. From a distance and when it's overcast, it's definitely peachy. Up close, it's just a sexy shiny not obnoxiously orange orange!

it think the peachy undertone caught me off guard. i guess i was expecting something not so subtle. it's a richer, creamier shade than i thought it would be. maybe i was expecting something in a tony stewart orange. good for him...not so good for fits.

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised by the lighter, more muted color.
