Fit/Jazz Subwoofer?

Has anyone put a subwoofer in their Fit yet? I'm wondering what type (bazooka tube, vs. small powered woofer vs. 8" box and amp) gives the best bang without losing the cargo space and seat versatility. I'm used to a 15" MTX in the trunk of a buick, so I'm looking for at least moderate bass. I noticed on the UK Honda web site, they offer a subwoofer also. Does anyone have this, and does it provide any BOOM? Does it allow for the space and seat versatility to be maintained? I know it's a lot of ?'s, but no car stereo dealers can give me an answer because it's so new in the US.

i would say the bazooka would be fine...its does not take to much space...i am considering this later on...other than the boom you would hear it good in the car, but i dont know about outside like if you want to be disturbing the peace

^ Does that go under a seat? Looks similar to the older Subaru OEM ones, which go under the front passenger seat.

I don't think it would go under the seat as it would interefer with the headrest when you fold the rear seats down...but then again...maybe it does...

Yeah, and since the gas tank is under the front seats, too...

I'm thinking of building a small box with JL Audio's 6w0 6" sub.

Let us know how that Kenwood powered sub sounds and fits in the boot. I haven't seen these in the stores yet, but it looks like it could fit behind the wheelwell over the rear light access panel. The reviews in Crutchfield say that it can add some boom. Let us know if you can get crunk with it on.

10" sealed still leaves plenty of space. Tried Vibe Black Air II 12" and the awesome Space 12s but too boomy for the space.

This is a Crossfire BMF (Big Mother Friendly) with 2.5" voice coils so hits hard with 550WRMS @ 12.5V (20% more at an unrealistic 14.4V) behind it. Need to observe the warning on the box. US speaker companies know how to make subs - whats with plastic Audiovox and Kenwood (should rename in Barbiewood and paint it pink).
