Fit CAR NAMES

Gotta name yer Fit.
Hi to all from a rainy day Boston. I named mine from a car and accessory magazine while waiting to pick up the GD3..... "Timbre Fit" pronounced
tam-ber. A musical term having to do with the qualities of a sound that differentiates it from other sounds of the same pitch and volume. THAT'S THE KIND OF CAR IT IS, SOON AS I DROVE IT- KNEW IT!

The name really stuck with me. If it wasnt for those little kids, i may have been still in search for a name.

1991 Red Honda Civic Hatch - Rice (16 year old kid that owned it before me made it all show, no go)
1992 Blue Honda Civic - Old Faithful (took me a while to name that one)
Chevy Corsica - You lousy no good pice of rusted out crap, start damn you, start! (at least thats what I addressed it with most often).
1972 Buick LeSabre - The Boat (yeah, I know everyone names it that, but considering four people could get a full body tan while laying on the hood it seemed appropriate).
The Fit? Not sure yet, something will come to me. My soon to be stepdaughter calls it the Batmobile for the color, since I couldn't figure out what BBP was when I first came here, I am thinking about BeBeeP (also fits with my favorite cartoon character - the roadrunner), Dusty is a possibility thanks to the every other day neccesity of washing. I'll keep you posted.

I haven't named a car in years. The first car I remember as a child was a Rambler station wagon, a push-button automatic, and my parents called it "Ramblin' Rose." So I guess I come from the same tradition...The first car I bought myself was an Opal Kadette and I called it "Toffee" b/c it was caramel-colored. I had a '69 Chevy SS Impala that we called "Black Beauty." I think the last car I named was a little Chevelle I called "Rosie," it was red with a white top.
Some cars just have a lot of personality and beg to be named, but I am resisting. I love my car, but no name.
