I left a question the other day concerning the radio in the 10 Fit Sport and the display of information. Was this off topic?

I asked why sometimes a station would display info and other times the same station would not. Is this a problem with the station or the radio?

no clue why that is. Probably the same reason why nobody answered you, or they didnt see it.

 

i think the station is sending out the info because the call letters change when the same station is bought out by another station even though same frequency.

 

Could be that the stations broadcasting RDS (radio data system) info with the radio signal. RDS stations send out station ID and occaisonally song and artist info that can be displayed on RDS enabled radios (which i believe the fit has.
