Smile Regarding Blaze Orange Metallic...

Hi all: I'm wondering...to anyone who has actually SEEN the blaze orange colour "in person," or is actually fortunate enough to OWN one , is there any other make/model of car you've seen around that has the most similar colour?

For instance, I've seen lots of Chevy Aveos in orange, as well as Mazda 3s (I think), and Nissan Muranos and others. Any of them that we can compare to? Or could you tell us if the Fit is brighter than a certain one, or more coppery or whatever?

Any responses would be greatly appreciated. I can think of little else but catching a glimpse of a blaze orange Fit! And I'm guessing that others can identify.

Many thanks!

My friend owns a BOM Fit sport! I actually think that it seems lighter than honda depicts it in the pictures on the web site and in the brochure..... It has like a pink-ish tint to it....

Still it looks great tho!

Mine is slightly lighter than I expected, too, and I like it even better than the pictures.

Thanks everyone! I'll have to track down an orange RSX if these dealers around here don't get an orange Fit in soon. My friend has an orange/copper Murano and I really like that colour. I finally saw a blue pearl Fit yesterday...it is very nice, but I'm still thinking I'll likely prefer the orange.

So is it safe to say that those of you who have Blaze Orange Fits are all happy with the colour? No regrets?

Mazee--your words are encouraging (and by the way, congrats on learning to drive manual!)

I can't remember the last time I've gotten so excited about a car!

Fit2bowner, she's sure easier to find in a parking lot than my old gray mare was. I spotted her from way across the lot, and she did look fiiiine!! The Honda dealer had a VBP on display the other day, and it was no nice, but I still prefer the BOM. I'm so proud of my beautiful girl. I've been trying to think of what to call her; does da BOM sound too masculine? lol

I'm envious, Mazee! But very happy for you... the colour must be very distinctive...and I, too, was thinking how easily it would show up in a parking lot! Or in a snow storm...well...up here anyway. lol

Hmmm...da BOM...you could call her that for short, and da bella BOM as her official name? To feminize things a bit. Just a thought...I asked my oldest daughter the other day how she liked Blaze as a name...but she vetoed it pretty quickly. Too masculine!

Fit2Bowner, da bella Bom it is! I like that!!

Everyone gathered around her at church this morning ooh-ing and ahh-ing; I felt like a proud parent! Several said they had seen the ad on TV and were dying to see one in person.

My best friend, who owns a $30,000 Accord, drove it to the restaurant afterward, and just fell in love with it!

Opinions are not exact, but I test drove a Blaze Orange Fit here in florida at Love Nissan /Honda and it very closly resembles,(at least to my eye) the Orange of the Nissan Murano that at the time was 8 cars away, maybe just a scosch lighter

That is a very fine photo, Arrow77099; I'm gonna swipe it to send all my relatives as it's one of the nicest ones I've seen.

From everything I've seen so far (aside from an actual car, lol), I'm LOVING this colour! I think my mind is pretty well made up.

And Mazee, I'm glad you liked the name! And that you're having such a wonderful time with your bella BOM!
