My radio display is saying eneter code.... I hit 1111 to see what would happen and now it says code error 1.

The code is on your owners manual, it is on a white sticker that came in the manual when you bought the Fit. Did you buy the Fit new?

Open your glovebox and look at the side of it nearest the drivers' seat. There should be sticker there with the 5 digit code.

If you have the service minder book most tech write the radio code on the first page as well as the key code etc. I have seen different dealers put the stickers in different places from inside the door jam to inside the rear hatch etc.

Most dealers will retrieve it for you. you need the serial number from the radio which you can get from holding the #1 and 6 preset buttons down at the same time.

Cool. Oddly enough, though, I've seen more than one Fit with the number on the side of the glovebox. I broke the face of my radio trying to remove it because NONE of the DIYs I could find had anything about the two screws that hold it in. They all said to, basically, "keep pulling" so I did...

Long and short, the guy I bought a replacement from lives in another state halfway across the country and he didn't know the code for his radio. I told him to look at the glovebox and there it was.
