So tired of "street racer" hondas...

so this is the 2nd day where i've been harassed by stupid Hondas on the street. They fly by me chirping gears and VTECing all super loud... never had problems at all before but not suddenly my car is a street tuned monster? anyone else experience this recently... I'm too tempted to rev at a stop light just to see them take off on me. HAHAHa oh btw the whole time im driving like 5 under the limit and shifting at 2300rpm so it's not even like it sounds im going fast... so idiotic

oh btw i've also seen 240s and other cars and they do no such idiocy, just cruise down looking super cool

This has been happening to me for years and it will probably never stop. And yes your location is not helping at all.

I get challenged by Hondas, Toyotas (Specifically tCs. I hate them with a passion!), Mustangs, and even an F430 one time. And this was all while driving my GE8. I usually just ignore them and keep driving. There's no point in trying to race them and risk getting into an accident or getting a ticket from the 5-0. Just try to ignore them Jason. It's going to keep happening. You might as well get used to it.

If you don't want to race(you shouldn't) then ignore them.

I get that all the time. People tailgate me. I have no idea if it's because of my driving style or the two decals on my rear windshield. Maybe it's both, I dunno.

People are insecure. Leave 'em be. If they're intimidated by our low-powered minivans...well that says a lot about what kind of people they are now doesn't it?

i've been getting more ricers pace with me, floor it, then slow down to pace with me again -- maybe it's because of my x-bars?? eh, anyway... i just ignore them. i accelerate normally, drive at the speed limit, and pray that billy-bad-cop pulls the idiot over

What i usually do when im rolling in traffic and someone pulls up next to me is i stay with them at a normal cruising speed then i check my rear view and put the brakes, i dont slam the brakes but just enough for him to fly by me.. one time i caught up to the red light and told the guy "are u happy u won" lmao!

Uh huh...I get it all the time, too. People are stupid and you always have people out there trying to prove a point. Like pinky_ said...I've given thumbs up or the peace sign to people before because I like their car and they either shoot me the finger in return or start revving. Epic fail.

Luckily my area is pretty ricer free, but just yesterday some dude was revving at me and ricer fly by-ing me for like 3 miles straight in his beat up exhaust-less Teg.. Hella annoying, i kept driving slower and slower seeing if he'd get the point, he didnt untill i turned.

TOOL - in your case you just hit the throttle to remove annoyance from front view of STI.

i didn't think it was that hard to ignore them. they sit and stare reving like a donkey, and i dont even look or bat an eye. try it

and nice stereotype of saying you'd get shot for being in Santa Ana.
