I'd be shocked if anybody wanted to challenge my all stock 2007 Fit Sport with not 1 aftermarket part on it or all stock. Who ever does that would just be wearing their tires or clutch out quicker all for naught.

It is mainly rednecks in pickups that exhibit that kind of behavior around here.... I just can't resist shutting them down sometimes.

Jealous of your SC. I get that all the time, too.

I don't get this so often, but Sometimes I do get a Si who takes off on me. Most of the time if i do get people who want to race me, its usually some riced out 88 accord or a 4 door eg civic sedan with a shart can exhaust. LOL

most "Honda assholes" drive ek, eg, or dc's with different colored fenders with side markers. LOL!

Pretty much every modded old Honda (usually Civic hatchbacks) that I go near has this Honda ricer/racer attitude. Most of the time they'll be cruising along 5-10 mph under the speed limit slowing everyone down behind them; when I go around them to go at the speed limit or a little faster (50 in a 45 etc), they start revving their engines and trying to get me to race them or such. I just don't understand the deal with these people who drive slower than they should then get riled up when someone else tries to go faster than they are (and only if that someone is in a modded Honda). If I go anywhere within sight of a modded Honda, I can pretty much expect some shit from them for no justified reason. I don't get this kind of crap from lifted trucks and other cars you'd expect - only Hondas. Such a pain in the ass.

The latest example was a pretty nice looking old Civic hatch that I was actually admiring - but then as soon as I got in the lane next to him which was going faster, he starts trying to start shit with me. This is a guy who had a little toddler in the back seat. I guess Honda attracts alot of jackasses due to the low price for the amount of rice you get.

I also attract alot of shit from Mazda5 drivers. Not sure what the deal is.

240's do this all the time when I had my 240, was worse when I had my MR2. Just cause you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Stupid drivers are everywhere...

I pray on those lame enough to try jumping the light into submission (stabbing the gas and the brakes before the light turns green) by paying attention to the light cycles and kicking their ass to the speed limit, then waiting for the ricer fly-by. Apart from that, I don't race.

Its funny how things change depending on the wheels I have on. Whenever I had the gold mesh on i would always get the racer guys harassing me, but with the Vienna's on I always get the thumbs up, nods, peace signs, etc

VIP styling FTW

Street racing is much safer than texting, talking on a cell phone or bombarding your senses with over the top decibels coming from a multitude of speakers and amplifiers while behind the wheel... Driving was safer 35 years ago when everybody was stoned or drunk and there weren't airbags, mandatory insurance and soccer moms in huge SUVs and quad cab 3/4 ton trucks.... It is strange that people style their cars to appear to be performance cars and then get upset when someone takes them seriously and calls their bluff.

Just remember, when they get nailed for street racing, they will look the tool bag. In Maryland they are trying to pass a 0 tolerance street racing bill. 1st time=jail time.
