I'm wishing the passenger side w/ tne OEM all-weathers had anchors. Those just keep sliding around and will be a real PIA come winter. Anyone ever tried to anchor the pass. side??

I got my GD fit used too and it had all weather mats with no anchors. So my wife went to Honda and yup $16 each. I was like WTF $64 for anchors! So I order 4 from Bernardi and got 4 sets. :P

Yikes-no wonder the mats were so darn expensive when I had them installed as an option--the price included $64 worth of anchors

My thought is that some dealers strongly resent the fact that owners are buying their accessories other places and coming to them for the bits and pieces - or that they are simply buying the accessories and DYI. The clips come boxed with the mats, plain and simple. If you buy from a dealer and the clips are not in the box - someone took them out.

I inquired at a dealer up to Bangor on the clips - they didn't even stock them, though they did have the mats. Cost was $6 and change per pair.

Floor mat clips

I have not installed the factory floormats, but I found these clips that work great with ANY floor mat.

Just my opinion- the weather tech liners are fantastic (I like the design a lot more than the OEM all weathers), the WTs are cheaper than what has been reported here for the OEMs, and there is no need for the clip.

Honda can take a ride on a donkey- I was sold a Fit without mats or clips- what's up with that?
Likewise, my 2005 subaru came with both standard and all weather OEM mats!

I had the all weather mats installed by the dealer-- the only one anchored down is the driver's mat with two anchoring attachments. Is there any need to anchor the other 3 mats?

I have to say yes. I find after passengers the left mat is shoven up. Thinking about cutting a pair in.
