1) the mpg should equal or exceed 40 mpg
2) the gas tank is in the way of the left foot. The space saviing benifits exceeds this problem for me
3)arm rest.
4)Cruise option for the base fit not available.
5) shifting alot for the manual modle. It seems that compaired to the honda civic sedan 1500 cc I owned for 13 years that there is a big difference in shifting . That car did 40 mpg on hywy driving.

I am happy with the car. I like the space and the magic seats. It gets alot of attention

OK lets add one more to make it the big 5

To my previous 4 add

5. A/C not up to snuff. Just warming up to summer in florida and it takes a good 15 mins on fan speed 4, with recirc button on before it gets tolerable. And yes I did open the windows for a while first.

I love the rest of the car !

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Look at the upper, right-hand corner of the
windshield for a small round sticker. This sticker
was applied at the port to indicate that the vehicle
has been inspected, and a repair i s not required.
• If the vehicle does not have this sticker, go to
step 2.
• If the vehicle has this sticker, the vehicle is OK,
and no further action is required.
2. To protect the paint, apply a 2-inch strip of masking
tape to the roof next to the edge of the upper
windshield molding.
2 INCH MASKING TAPE
2 of 2 06-019
3. Cut off the tip of the 3M Black Super Silicone
Sealant tube applicator at the first groove. Lightly
file the outside diameter of the applicator tip so that
it barely fits into the gap between the molding and
the roof.
4. Using a plastic card (credit card or something
similar), pull up the outer edge (lip) of the molding
at the middle of the windshield. Working toward the
side of the windshield, fill the entire channel under
the molding with the sealant.
5. Move to the other side of the vehicle, and then
repeat step 3.
6. Lightly push down on the molding to smooth it out
and form an even seal.
7. Wait for 5 minutes, and then remove the masking
tape.
8. Using a shop towel and 3M General Purpose
Adhesive Cleaner, clean off any excess sealant.
Cut off the first segment
of the applicator tip.
Start at the middle and work outward.

Surprised to hear that you're having trouble with the a/c. I also live in FL, further south, and the a/c comes up fast. I usually set fan at 2-3, with the windows part way open for just a couple of minutes. The kind of trouble you describe was what I experienced in my 11 year old Accord.

Guess I may be the only one who does not like the front end dissappering once you sit in the seat. It will take a lttle getting used to and maybe a few dings on the front spoiler. Also pedals are a little too close.

Headlights on my Fit Sport don't shine out far enough, the light has a very sharp cutoff approx 75 feet ahead of the car. Not really a big deal on lighted roads but VERY noticeable on lonely dark roads...hope I have fast reflexes if a deer should jump out in fromt of me when I'm doing 60 MPH.

The brights however seem to work very good and are aimed perfectly.

HID would be great but then again the US Market Fit is the bottom rung on the Honda Ladder.

I'm sure someone will come up with an HID conversion shortly...I'd be interested.

Ask your dealer to re-adjust them. Or you can do it yourself.

1. No Center Arm Rest/Storage unit.

2. No dead pedal.

3. Cargo nets needed because my beer cases always slide around in the back and make to much noise!

I would really like it if the head lights would shut off when the ignition switch was off. Do you hear me Honda it would be nice to have the option of having the head lights on durring day time driving. Some times it is just what you need for a person to see you traveling so they can yield your right of way. Wireing the headlights to be switched to the ignition would prevent a burned out battery.

I know that there's an issue with the windshield and the wind but cracking... ? thanks
yeah when u open the back windows and u start to go above like 50mph or so it seriously makes this horrible like helicopter whooshing sound... its horrible. Another thing it really does need the 6th gear... gearing ratios seem a little short if 1st could be a little taller i'd be happy-er. Dead pedal is a given... and um... THE HEADLIGHTS ARE FOR SURE WAY TOO LOW IT IRRITATES ME!!!

Just happen to notice the headlights last weekend when driving on the local HWY with a median divider, and it's absolutely pointed very low. I'd say say not even 50 ft.

1. Gas tank position limits where I can rest my left foot

2. Wold have liked the steering wheel maybe an inch closer to the driver's seat

3. Power outlet turns off when I turn the car off, so I can't leave my phone or MP3 player plugged on to charge overnight or while at work (both my Neon and my mom's PT Cruiser left it on all the time)

4. Doors don't automatically unlock when you pull the handle to open them from inside, you have to manually unlock them first
