Is there a *clear* Fit hood deflector or adhesive paint film?
I know there are hood deflectors for the Fit, but they're a dark color. Is there a clear one?
Alternately, since I hear that the Fit paint is thin and brittle, is there an adhesive film that can be applied over the hood, fenders and doors to protect the paint? It would be great to have a film that could be left on for a long period of time to protect it, then replace it when that started getting beat up.

Having applied the clear bra to my car myself, I'd also suggest not doing it yourself . Here's a link to how mine turned out: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/725700-post194.html. You really need to know how much to stretch it and work pretty fast.
If you're going to get it, I'd also try to get the entire hood done and the entire front fender -- as you might guess, I got rock chips where there isn't any film .

I'd highly recommend some kind of hood protection on our cars. The front is so sloped that everything gets hit. I've got a number of chips on my hood, some way past where the hood protector would have ended. If I were to do things over, I'd get a deflector or the clear bra. Maybe when I eventually repaint my hood, I will get it done.
