What have you changed to mak your car more livable?

The Fit is definitely one car that needs window tinting because the sun's heat just gets in at every angle.
Even just plain 3M Black Chrome BC35 film all around will suffice. It's not dark at all, which is a consideration for me since I hate having to roll down my windows at night in dark places just to see better.

I have installed tint on my car 20% all around and I enjoyed the tint. I get looks from people while on the road and one of my friend complimented that it looks nicer with the tint. I ended up removing the tint because I was pulled over and got a fix it ticket. Ever since I got pulled over, I did not put any kind of tint on my window. My fit still looks nice without tint, so I'm still happy
Found a writeup on Modified magazine before that it really does decrease interior temperatures...

2009 base mt.
Interior:
- OEM Armrest, keyles entry/security (dealer installed at the time of purchase)
- steering wheel leather cover
- self-made floor mats hooks to hold any all-weather floor mats.
- two cargo hooks (could not believe it was optional on base) and self-made cargo net ( do not like that small OEM cargo net)
- tinted windows
- installed toddler car seat and interior mini-fork-attached-rack for the bikes in cargo area
Exterior:
- changed 175/65/165 to 195/60/15 tires
- pulled the hub caps off and put chrome lug nuts and '88 civic center caps on. (painted rims more black)
- splashguards
- Mazda5 antenna (2.5 times longer)
Thinking about weighted shift knob and ....carwash.
Very much regret I did not negotiate for the fog lights at the time of purchase as part of the deal - noway I will pay $400+ for this now.
