Anyone receive a call from Honda Motor?
I just received a call last week to rate my car sale. This was a direct call from Honda. Anyhow, I mentioned that I was unhappy with some scratches on my car (dealership detailer's fault). Lo and behold, my salesman calls me today about this problem. He was going to talk to the manager for rectification.

A salesman told me Honda Motors would be in touch and I was asked to let them know immediately if I had any problems so they could rectify them. One of the two salesmen who handled the sale called me within 48 hours after I took my Fit home to make sure all was well. I've had the car since April 20 and no call yet from Honda Motors. I keep hearing about cute & dumb commercials for the Fit, but haven't seen one myself.

The dealer told me I would be receiving a followup call from Honda to ask me how my experience was with customer service. He ask that I give him all positive remarks as it impacts his bonus.
I told him that if he would have knocked off another $500 from the price I would've. You should have seen the expression on his face. I think that alone was worth $500. I haven't gotten a call yet, but I wont screw around with the guys bonus (or would I)? Hmm...

Ha ha. If you really want to screw the dealership over, tell Honda that the salesperson told you about the survey before hand and asked you to give him/her good ratings. Once Honda finds out, that dealership will be disqualified from the President's Award contest. According to the rules, the dealership will be disqualified if they tell the customer about the survey or try to presuede the customer into giving them a good rating. In other words, it will really piss them off..
