Color from VIN or Model Code?
Howdy,
If a dealer has a Fit listed in their on-site inventory, and they provide a VIN and a model code (whatever that is ), is there a way to determine the color of the car(s)?
Thanks muchly.

You can tell the color if they have access to the interactive network that tracks vehicle status and in-transit reports. All dealers should have access to this network... sounds like they are just lazy.
Better yet, since they are local, just call and ask them?

If you set up an account on Honda's Owner Link, you can enter the VIN there, and it will automatically pull up the specs, including color... allowing you to snoop on cars listed on autotrader that you can't see in person (and that they didn't provide all details in the ad).
