An abandoned car sits alongside Colorado Highway 93 on Wednesday as a winter storm blew over the Rockies.

wow, that car sure slid pretty wide... time for some WS60's.

Yup. A NHBP GD3 Sport. I don't know: Does that look like a Colorado plate to ya'll?

I debated getting snow tires for my Fit this year. Determining factor turned out to be money. Last Winter (my first with the Fit) had a fair amount of snow and one major ice storm. On the stock Dunlop skinnies, I had no problems with driving on snow and even ice. First time the ABS went on, though, I thought I had broken a CV joint.

Blah, I have gotten my old toyota Highlander SUV stuck in snow several times. It comes down to tires and drivetrain I guess.

Note to self next time i go to Montana in the winter I'll need to rock 4wd and studded tires.

Just hoping for a mild winter - we haven't had a major snow fall since 1994 -
