SoCal is actually a hotbed. While living there I played for the USMC, Santa Monica, and Los Angeles. Two of arguable the best teams in the nation are Belmont Shore (Orange County), and the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club (OMBAC) in San Diego.
I also played for the Washington Irish while in DC, and The Fort Sill Gunners while at artillery school. It's everywhere, you just have to look a little to find it.

2002 Civic Si 5 speed - good in the beginning but then needed more room.
2003 Element EX 5 speed - great on room, not as fun to drive, needed better mileage and also not child friendly as I like to leave the seats out for deliveries.
2007 Fit Sport 5 speed - just right. Though I had to keep the Element as a "delivery van" for the business. The Fit is perfect for what I am doing now, including occasionally carting around a 5 month old!

Hopefully, next June I will drive my Fit to the first "Old Boys" weekend I will have been able to attend for about 16 years. I hope they still remember me. I've still got game!
