What do you KEEP in your fit?

What do you KEEP in your fit? (or other automobile)

Whats in your car all the time? Roadside emergency kit? First aid kit? (And what is in those kits?) What do you feel you need to have with you all the time? What should every fit owner carry with them? Do you tote around a better lugnut wrench than the silly two-piece unit? (I used to have a tendency to carry around the X-shaped one for better leverage, although I rarely ever had to use it.) And how do you keep it all organized?

Well you never know now that we are Fit.

Seriously - umbrella, sunglasses, the Annoying Thing rides co-pilot, kleenex and wipes for those nasties.

Just remember, condoms left in a hot car will be compromised... so maybe it would be better to keep cash to get some condoms in the back.

As far as my car
I don't really have anything well set up. Right now, I have a tire pressure gauge, and a bicycle pump that I keep forgetting to remove, but I guess it could come in handy?

I intend to add a blanket (in case car breaks down, and it's cold, and no one can get to me right away), a crank flashlight, maybe some emergency flares. I'd like some kind of kleenex, a small towel for "oops" duty, and probably some bandaids and antibac ointment would be a good idea. But I also don't want to carry around a bunch of junk, so probably at least the blanket and flashlight, and the rest we will see...

First aid kit, small pillow and blanket (more for passengers as I like to be freezing when I'm driving, but I have used them for a nap), tire pressure gauge, umbrella, reusable cloth shopping bags, doggie seat belt, collapsible dog bowl, high powered flashlight that can stand on its own plus spare batteries for it (changing a flat in the dark was once too often). Everything fits in a car tote (I think it's called). Oh, and a book and my ipod.

Well, beside the normal spare tire and emergency kit (that I think ALWAYS have to be in every car), there is only one item that is in the car all the time:

It stays in the shelf under the glove compartment. Yes, I have a bit bigger shelf than in the Fit. It can be seen on this picture.

tire pressure gauge, 1/2"-breaker bar w/ 3/4 socket, change for tolls, emergency pack of smokes and the obvious bag of Worthers Originals.... Grandma candy FTW
Oh yeah, the usual everyday stuff in my backpack but I don't think that counts for this thread.

Not by the looks of his numbers in his sig

I don't like carrying a lot of crap in my car either. I hate when stuff causes rattles and/or scratches or has the ability to fly around while I'm driving. I just thought of a good idea though. I might get a small, soft duffle bag to put everything in.

I seem to be a pack rat compared to you guys. I just like to be prepared for any eventuality. Y'know, shit happens and you gotta be prepared.

12V air compressor
A small can of WD-40
Tools and wrenches
1/2" drive handle with 19mm and 21mm sockets
Key for my Work RS wheel locks
A few towels
4GB USB flash drive
First aid kit
2 bungee cables
Hand sanitizer
Charcoal for scent removal
Flashlight
Jumper cables
2 umbrellas
A pair of badminton shoes

Organizing all of that is a bitch though. What doesn't fit in the glovebox and door pockets I stuff in a small bag.
