There's a difference... a person listening to loud music via headphones or not, is receiving a huge stimulus which can be distracting. A deaf person is not only without the audio stimulus, but because of that, their other senses are heightened.

Driving with powerful amplifiers is incredibly dangerous...

All any of us need to do is check other threads with photos of accidents. That's what happens. Accidents. And injuries.
Oh, and don't forget those who TEXT and drive!! That irritates me AND is dangerous.

And I can't stand being forced to listen to someone ELSE'S music while I'm going down the road. If I can hear YOUR music in MY car and both of our windows are up...it's TOO LOUD.

Anyway,back to the whole driving-with-headphones thing. If you want to drive with earbuds, feel free, but try just using one. You can still hear everything...including ambient noise.
