They could really blow the minds of all of the competition by offering one of the following:
Chrome that actually looks like chrome paint! http://alsacorp.com/chrome.htm
Chrome with prism effect, a sprayable chrome paint combined with an intense prismatic color change effect.
http://www.alsacorp.com/products/mul...ultichrome.htm
Another off the wall idea! Add a glow in the dark additive to the paint! Not a super bright but short lived glow, but a low glow that will last for a longer period. people will do a double take as you drive by "Is that car glowing?"
Cars that change colors when they get wet? If they can use it on hotwheels, why not on Fit's?
The color changing paint has been used on other cars, but would not be bad either!
They need to wake up the creative spark of some of these other car companies!

I'd just like to be able to get all of the colors (and accessories/options, for that matter) that are available on the Fit/Jazz in other parts of the world. The Helios Yellow Pearl and Macha Crème Metallic would be nice.
And even if they don't think there would be enough interest to mass produce these other colors, at least making them available to special order couldn't be too much more work for the factories. They already produce those colors for other markets, so it's not like they'd have to make up something completely new.

I'm getting the Vivid Blue, but I'd love something lighter blue. I'm worried that the VB is going to show dirt, dings, and scratches like my dark green Jetta does. I liked the lighter blue available in the Toyota Matrix, but compared to the Fit, I couldn't choose a Matrix just for the color!

My sister has a 2005 accord in graphite gray. Man that color is nice. I would love that on the fit. Or on the new Audi A4's darker grey colors. I also like the dark gray colors with a pearl shade of blue. So shiney!

I'd buy a FitSport in a deep Purple. agree, yellow, a sage/mint green, ice blue, dark blue, gray.
whatever color you pick should come with the option of color matching interior trim...simple bits, not overwhelming. maybe seat-piping or something.
