Paint/Nose protection

Hi All,

Traded in my 02 CR-V with 118K in three years. Combined mpg finally beat me into the ground $$$ wise. Fit may do most of all I need it to do for the time being.
Anyway, I have suffered with many many chips on the grill etc and with my new Fit wonder if the plastic/poly film that they offer is worth it?

Thanks in advance.

Rocco

Yes, it's worth it.

My 05 Toyota Tacoma has Sh*tty paint on it- started blasting off within a few weeks of owning it- winter roads- got the clear 3M material from invisishield- awesome. The finish on the clear shield is shiny, and acts like paint- can wax it polish it, etc.

No more chips, at all.

Nice. About $300 for the whole front of my Tacoma, I'd hope this car is less. You can do individual parts if you like, like just the hood, just the bumper, etc.

Good luck.

Choices

Thanks for the replies. So my take is to get the shield done. I believe the Honda Dealer I use does it separately or part of a package.
Not sure of the breakdown but for $1300 it includes
7yr/120 Honda Care
Lo Jack
The paint shield plastic/poly stuff mentioned above and
GAP insurance.

Not really a bad deal if you were already considering the extended warranty.
Lowest price I did see was Bernardi Honda @ $850 7yr/120K.
LoJack costs about $300 alone.
Leaves the shield at @$250.
Not too bad.

Thanks, I will let you know how I make out tomorrow with the dealer, have to finalize paperwork.

Best, Rocco
