to get milano red mugen mirror covers on a black pearl? i know its a dumb question but i just wanna know what you guys think if you saw a black fit with red mirror covers. i wanna get the mirror covers just for show and i thought of red because it would match the mugen floor mats i ordered. although black also matches with the mats, i was thinking red my turn some heads because black would just blend in with the car.

It may be sort of weird by itself only if it stands out too much. If you were to pull off a red and black theme though, it could look pretty sweet.

I would do something like this (excuse the rough shopjob):


At least get the red JDM H badges for the front and rear, red door handles, and some red wheels, or repaint the stock wheels. I'd think it would look good with a painted sport grill as well.

If you want to go further, maybe get some vinyl/paint for the roof following it across the top of the spoiler, the V shape on the hood, the two side skirts, side edges of the bumper, and rear diffuser.

For the lights I would tint the fogs reddish (if it's legal) and get the JDM non-LED rear taillights.

Dang, now I'm going to have to rethink getting an SSM

 

That looks pretty cool, I like the theme. I'm personally planning on doing something similar with black on my Vivid Pearl Blue GD3.

 

if that is going to be the only secondary color on the car, i woudnt think its ghetto ish. i mean if you had some other things that are red, people would know your trying to run a theme, instead of finding the cheapest or fastest replacment part lol but yea what vanct said

I kind of like the idea of the red theme but I'm trying to stay away from red shoes (too ricer for my case)
As for the red door handles, spoiler and side mirrors..that would be pretty sick but I doubt i'll ever do it even if i wanted to..i guess we'll just have too see (;

 

You could also do like black or silver wheels with red lugs and perhaps paint your brake calipers red to match, that would look subtle and clean.

just do not, and I can't emphasize it enough, paint your drums red. calipers are fine painted but when you get into the red drums it starts getting pretty ricer

if you meant the outside mirrors, black on a red car would look better, but anyways, its your car, just do whatever you want..

 

I have the MR and have the MR Mugen Rear view mirror cover and it looks good. I think it would look sick to put a MR on a black car. Go for it and
start building your theme - That red will pop on the car.

I'm planning on getting white rims with red lugs to start off with and perhaps even paint my calipers red.
