must see pic of speedometer...going fast
i do not encourage people to go this speed...i was just seeing where the RPMs are...the car at this speed does not shake much... you can feel that the car has reached this high speed...i did end up topping it out 4 times hitting the govenor...my opinion it holds ok at that speed

I cannot believe you actually took your eyes off the road long enough to take a picture of your speedo while doing 110. You must have a death wish. There have been a lot of idiotic things done and said on this forum, but this takes the cake.
Glad I'm not driving in Florida anytime soon.

I have always broken a car in the way I am going to drive it. The first car I ever had was a brand new 1986 Monte Carlo SS, I had that thing topped out the first night I had it. I always drove that car hard and it stayed tight till I sold it 2 years ago. I sold it when it had 160k hard miles and it didn't use a drop of oil and ran good. I used to drag race all the time and many a night I would have it pegged out comming home from my girlfriends house. It even ran a 12.82 through the 1000ft with 89k miles on it. Drive your car how you want and enjoy the hell out of it.

I believe in getting some revs during break in, but I would not do quite that many. At least it had over 300 miles.
112 mph at 5,300 rpm is right about at 2839 rpm at 60. Judging by the rpm's that is a stick shift.
