Where to purchase Honda Fit Accessories

Hello fellow Fit-ters/Jazz-ers,

I just picked up my Honda Fit Sport Automatic in Black yesterday and I am in love! I was very busy petting and caressing it yesterday, since it seemed so naked! LOL I can't wait to dress it up! The only problem is I don't know of more than one place to purchase genuine Honda Fit parts & accessories. I've searched online and came across http://www.collegehillshonda.com/, and that's it! Can anyone kindly direct me and anyone else in search of accessories, to more suppliers?

Well...

There is http://www.handa-accessories.com/honda.html but they have the same Honda parts for sale. There is also http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/ for replacement parts and such. I don't know about third party stuff but hopefully someone posts something.

Wow, that was fast!

Thank you for replying so soon, and also for providing those sites. Now my odds of obtaining what I need just got higher. Hearing about such high demand and lowered production rate on the Fit, I figured it'd be more difficult to find suppliers with certain accessories in stock.

Ummmmm - how about all the fine vendors that help support this board in the Market place section?

Yeah that's a really good idea!
I literally couldn't have thought of that, 'cause I've only registered 2 days ago. So... how do I get there?

All the prices those websites are WAY better than buying from the dealerships. I'm not sure about their service though.

Okay, so I started searching for that Market Place Section, and I guess I found that section at the home page area. I was surprised to see Bernardi Honda's advertisement, and checked out their website. I was amazed to see how much, or should I say how low their accessory costs are online. I figured since they are only located a "Boston Marathon" distance away from my place of residence, I may actually get it tomorrow! So I immediately placed an order online for the floor mats and the cargo cover. Hopefully I'll get them before the weekend. If all goes well, I'm sure to be a returning customer. (Love to have some of those red interior accents). Unfortunately I can't just visit the dealership and their parts department to purchase them for the online price. I am however glad to say I'm happy to be able to assist the fine vendors who support this board of Fit Freaks.

Now at the risk of hijacking this thread, anybody know of any online vendors which will accept Canadian credit cards and will ship to a Canadian address?

I'm going with www.hondaacuraworld.com because their prices are the same as Collegehills but their shipping is much much less expensive. They also ship international and to Canada.

From their website:
Here at Hondacuraworld, we believe in being upfront with our customers showing them exactly what they'll be paying for. Period. No surprise charges, no hidden freight costs, just a simple 3.95 handling charge per order (no matter what you order) in the continental US.......AK, HI, and Canada a flat 10% surcharge

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, they do not seem to carry the Fit's Cargo Cover (only cargo net)

^^^^ Like hatchgeek says.

I've ordered from hondaacuraworld.com in the past. They provide good prices and good service. You'll see them mentioned in a lot of other Acura forums, almost always with glowing endorsements.

I just realized that CollegeHills Honda is only an hour and one minute away. I think it will be my first road trip with the Fit or because they are so close I may be able to get my dealer to match their prices.

It probably would fit, but it's a matter of getting the wiring figured out. The kits are designed specifically to plug directly into the wiring harnesses of the car, so with the Civic kit, you might have to customize if yourself...

Or you could buy the Canadian interior lighting accessory.....red, yellow or orange lighting!!!

So as I mentioned yesterday, I visited one of the vendors on this site (http://www.bernardiparts.com/) and ordered some accessories. Their website said if orders are made before 4:00pm, and they have the accessory in stock, it'd be shipped same day. I placed the order around 2:00pm, and received confirmation by email. I followed up an hour later, no progress. Then I checked another hour later around 4:00pm, and verified that the shipment was made! Great job BernardiParts.com! Now I await for my accessories today! (Floor Mats & Cargo Cover) There was something unusual about the UPS shipment though. They transported my shipment SOUTH to ANOTHER STATE (Rhode Island) just to transport it back NORTH to Massachusetts PASSING the original place of origin. (See Below) Where's the logic in that??? Well, since it didn't delay the shipment of 1 DAY, I can't complain.

Package Progress:

The magic of coordinated hub shipping - sometimes you head away at first to get it there faster. It all has to do with sort and point of origin / destination...

hondaacuraworld.com got back to me, the cargo cover is now in stock. A little more expensive than some other places, but the cheaper shipping makes up for it. (3.95 flat for US, 10% of invoice value for Canada)
