Fit Advertising - I get it (I think)
Now that the fit commercials are starting to air, I have to say I think Honda knows exactly what they're doing. The first ads that aired were so quick, it makes you say, "What was that?" and want to know more. Once they get everybody's curiosity piqued, I think we'll see longer, more in-depth ads. And Honda timed it just right. The ads not only coincide with the official release date, but since some of us already have our cars, Honda can count on happy Fit owners (like me) to talk up the car. Its free advertising on their part, but it doesn't bother me a bit. I'm glad to brag about my car to anybody who will listen!

Funny I work in TV advertising and my co-workers are giving me nothing but sh*t about these Ad's.
I keep hearing robotic voices in the hall mocking "the fit is go" followed by much laughter.
Maybe there onto something with "what the ..." factor, but the potential shame issue for demo's outside of the 20 something's is NOT cool

Yeah, but they're talking about it - and that's the point of advertising. Working in the industry, you should know that as well as anyone. If the advertising creates conversations, good or bad, Honda's ad firm has done its job.
(Note: I haven't seen the ad yet, but I trust I will soon.)

Too much emphasis on being different. Different is fine, but not for its own sake.
