I actually got chrome lug nuts first and put them on, but they weren't the right kind of seat for the wheels, being beveled instead of the round seat. I took them back and got a refund and when I bought the right kind I decided that I liked the black ones better.

What color are you going with?
Be sure to post some pix.

I was going to add that when I put the chrome nuts on it reminded me of truck wheels, so when I replaced the nuts I went with the black and I like it better, but that's just my opinion.

I am going with gloss black, chrome center caps, chrome trim rings, and chrome lug nuts. I will definitely post up some pics when I am done.

The low rider crowd refer to wheels of that type as "caisson wheels" because they look like the wheels used on military vehicles and artillery carriages... The style was popular on cars built in the 1930s.. There was a guy here about five years ago that had wide white walls, baby moon caps and beauty rings on his Fit.... I've seen brushed stainless steel disk hub caps that look like the spun aluminum Moon Racing Disk screw on caps used on the lakesters at Mirage Lake used on Scion SBs and other little econoboxes lately. Some countries banned the Moon Disk for use on roads because they were said to increase the top speed of cars and caused too many accidents...

Moon recently released snap on disks for 15" steel wheels with FWD offsets so you don't have to use the screw on types (if you're not that hardcore lol) that may explain the rise in popularity.

Moon actually has a FWD section now on their online storefront

I'm still pretty happy with my custom painted (by me!) 14" Integra rims with polished lip. I like your black lug nuts though, are they ball seat? It seems all the cool, aftermarket lugs are conical seat.

They're ball seat. There's quite a few aftermarket ball seat lugs now:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-ACURA-BALL-RADIUS-STOCK-OEM-WHEELS-LUG-NUTS-12X1-5-M12-1-5-CLOSED-END-BLACK-/181092047353?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a29ed59f9&vxp=mtr
You can also use the S2000 CR lugnuts I think (they're black) if you want OEM quality but of course that comes with cost as well. I'm not sure if they're deep enough for steelies but they'd fit on most of the alloys just fine i'm sure.
