Stock Tires

I was wondering if anyone got a Fit Sport equipped with Dunlop tires. I thought all NA Fit's came with Bridgestone tires but I guess thats not the case. Whats funny is that the Dunlop tires on my Fit Sport arent listed on either the US Dunlop site or Japanese Dunlop site. They are made in Japan but it was strange how its not listed on either site.

What tires do the rest of you Sport owners have? By the way the model Dunlops on my Sport are the SP37 A/S, A/S standing for All Season.

The base and sport Fits in San Jose I looked at this weekend all had those same SP 37 tires, in their respective sizes; in closeups of pics from other countries the Dunlops look similar-- must be a "new" offering.

Found these tires using Google. Not sure if the tires are the same in the U.S.

My Base has Dunlop SP37s on it. Oddly, they gave me the limited warranty brochures for both brands of tires. Maybe the donut is a Bridgestone.

Actually the tires are Dunlop SP31's. The 1 on the tire is just shaped funny at the top. TireRack lists that tire as an OE All Season tire, but no pictures. This is the same tire that is used on the Civic hybrid. I would expect that the Fit would handle even better with a tire upgrade, to high or ultra high performance A/S or Summer type. Tirerack's Tire Search has the Fit listed and gives lot's of choices for the standard 15" and optional 16" wheels

My fit sport has dunlop tires and here is a link to a pic

If anyone upgrades to 16in or higher I would like to see it. Also I am looking for an identical pair of rims and tires that comes standard on the fit sport 2007.
Anyone interested in selling them?

Mine came with the dunlops. They are ok even in hard turning, but nothing to brag about... Some road noise at high speeds, but that is it...

I was worried that the car was going to ship with Potenza RE92's......

I really dislike the RE92, stock tire on my WRX and it was just awful in any sort of inclement weather. Servicible on dry tarmac though, for daily duty.

Do you get any? Do they even come with tires?

If they come with tires, I'd be a lot more inclined to order them, a decent set of rims for $800 with tires is a steal.

Curious about this one too as the 16" wheel is listed at $150 ea. Surely the extra $200 must be for something.

honda fit tires

i am actually going to pick up my 2008 honda fit tomorrow january 12 2008. i am getting a 2008 base model fit equipped from the dealership with the sport wheels (15"'s), fog lights, and the bra. the tires that are on the car from the dealer are Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1. The size is 195/55VR15. nice stock tires. but 95% of all fit sports with the 15"'s are dunlop sp31.

The donut is indeed a different brand than the tires on the vehicle.
