EDGY:
an innovation described by the adjective edgy, also meaning 'on the cutting edge,' though edgy connotes being innovative in a daring or discomfiting way.
DISCOMFIT: verb discomfited, discomfiting
1. To make someone feel embarrassed or uneasy; to perplex them.
Thesaurus: disconcert, confuse, perplex, confound, discompose, fluster, faze, rattle; embarrass, humble, humiliate, demoralize.
2. To frustrate the plans of someone.
Thesaurus: thwart, frustrate, prevent, stall, holdback, checkmate.
somehow, this FITS! although I doubt he has any plans.

OK, OK... Something about the sight of a Pacer that gets me going.
I ordered my FIT about a month ago and hope to have it soon. Its an interesting looking car. And in all seriousness, the Pacer is hidious!

fit and ford
I expect the Fit to perform at least as well as my 93 Ford pickup. Thirteen years later, that old truck looks mighty nice to me. I would never have a realistic opinion of a vehicle until it has way over 100K on the odometer. Cute? Maybe. Slick? For sure. Using the Japanese to thwart the Arabs. Exactly. It is beautiful.

I came across this old posting and noted that you're a Honda employee. Can you give me any suggestion about how to find a Fit Sport manual transmission? I placed orders with two dealers in the Detroit area four months ago, and neither seems able to obtain one. Neither has any idea of when one might arrive. Does Honda keep its dealers in the dark this way?

I could care less...
...how the FIT looks. It serves a wonderful purpose for us in the courier business. I hope it's more reliable than our Toyota Matrix's have been and it's won't be hard to beat them for MPG's.
I kinda liked the AMC Pacer when it came out. I remember sitting in it on the showroom at the local American Motors dealer and thinking it was very different! It's biggest problem is what always haunted AMC's vehicles...quality control and reliability.

I had a Civic wagon and loved it, now I have a Fit and adore it. I've had plenty of compliments on my Fit, including a Civic owner who honked the horn as we left the light and called out "I love your car!" It is all a matter of taste. I find it astonishing that a Honda salesperson would go to all the trouble of getting on the Fit Forum to criticize the Fit, then on top of that be surprised that his comments weren't well-received, and that we took the trouble to reply to him. Frankly if he thinks people don't have a life because they get enthused over a particular car model, why is he selling cars for a living?!

WOW!!! This ones got many posts. I have not been online in awhile, (had a project). So to the initial Q for this post. I bought the Fit because I thought and think that it is the right car for me. Don't get me wrong, the new Civic is HOT, but the Fit serves my needs in the realm of cargo/price/gas/ it's a Honda! I'm driving this thing until it won't go anymore!
(i also think it looks like a spaceship!)
So, thats why I bought the Fit as well as many other reasons. The car made sense to me. Then again, H3's make sense to my sister, so what can you really say about my bloodlines opinion of vehicles?
