i would like an internal rack for my bike. i'm thinking i could probably rig something up so that i can attach the mount for the front fork on the back of one of the seats (so that when the seats are folded down it sits flat) but i don't know if i like the aethetics of that when the seats are up. i saw a picture that showed an internal rack holding two bikes. has anyone else heard of this or know pricing, availability, etc?

I'm going to want the ipod adaptor. I dont have an ipod yet, but to just be able to port all of my music in on one unit is very appealing to me instead of cluttering the car up with a bunch of CD's.

I just need to do a bit of checking and see which ipods the adaptor supports/what my options are.

Upgraded brakes, turbocharger (I only want an extra 50% power, just to make it surprising), Pirelli tires, six speeds would be nice, but not required, leather upholstery, Spoon exhaust to go with the turbo, and a beefier radiator/waterpump.

I would start by offering three trim levels instead of two:

- Base: The current base model

- LX: The current sport model minus the body kit pieces. Upgraded seats, sunroof, top audio, cushy suspension, cruise control, power ashtrays, etc...

- Si: A true sports version based on the Malaysian model. 6MT or CVT with 7 'pseudogears', rear disk brakes, sports suspension, extra hp, LSD, sport seats (4 buckets with removable rears?).

Options I'd like to see:

Exterior:
- All 12 colors offered worldwide. See http://www.honda.co.jp/Fit/color/index.html (I'm partial towards Sirius Blue)
- Turn the body kit into an option
- Sunroof

Interior:
- A special 'rubberized' interior a la Element that can be hosed down and lots of tie-downs
- leather/heated/power/massaging seats
- Removable rear seats
- a center console/armrest (I wish this would be included on all cars)

Mechanical:
- A hybrid version based on the iDSI engine
- The AWD drivetrain available in Asia
- Replace the automatic with the 'CVT+7' transmission
- rear wheel disk brakes

Smoke.

The notion of "rice" is completely overblown. Most people have their own definition for it, and they're all crap.

The really comic thing about Imprezza owners getting on your case for "rice" is that so many of them used to own Civics with big wings and big exhausts. Now that they've moved on to a car that has a big turbo as well as a big wing and big exhaust, they think they're somehow superior, and deny their "rice" roots. Looks to me like AWD turbo sedans are the new "rice", the new fad for the same set of people.
oh yea... this is really rice. i dont have a big wing, and even if i still had my stock sti wing, it was actually functional, whats your excuse?

this is a link posted elsewhere on fitfreak for the armrest:
http://www.woodcompany.com/hondapage.htm
I hear it is lovely but pricey.

I am hoping that the Kosei K1 TS wheel (15x7) fits. I'm planning on a black sport MT and am tempted to buy the wheels in gold. Maybe I'll need some JPS Lotus stickers too...

In real life, they will probably just be silver. I'll mount some Blizzaks on the stock rims. The Kosei rims are under 11 lbs. each.

I'm so boring. I want:

* an Aux port
* Floor mats
* Cargo Tray, Container, and the applique
* Center Console with armrest

I have no desire to trick out my car.

Did you bother to put any effort into understanding the message you were responding to, or did you just see "Imprezza" and "rice" in the same sentence and decide to write an upset response?

Also, if you had bothered to catch the point, you wouldn't be asking for my excuse. I don't need to justify anything that is on my car what so ever, to anyone at any point, least of all you.

Yeah, I'd love an armrest or center console... and a sun roof! Then it would be perfect!

funny, im far from upset. all i see is you taking a pathetic jab at my car. simply because i've proven you know nothing about fits, autocross, impreza (learn to spell it), invoice, car buying, car selling, etc.

the real point is you dont know rice from nice. you cant tell whats a function mod even if it hit you in the face.

p.s. i forgot, you got a rsx, the sleek luxury sports car with stage gazillion interior. third gear roll that beats speed of light. go back to clubrsx so i can flame you in front of your ricer tool friends.
