Ge / gd

Hello,
what do the abbreviations GE/GD mean?
Tried using search but the search terms are too short
Oh, and also JDM and USDM?
Thanks

There basically the body style codes for the Fits. GD is a Fit produced between 2001-2008 and GE is a Fit produced 2009 (2008 in Japan) till now.

JDM means Japanese Domestic Market. Usually when someone with say a CDN or USDM (Canda or United States Domestic Market) car replaces a part that came with the car with one from its Japanese counterpart.

Typically for the Fit it consists with items such as a shorter hood and fenders with a different front and rear bumper, headlights, taillights, and a few more items here and there.

One correction, I think Hootie meant chassis code not body style code. There's the GD1, GD3, and GE8.

Mugen is a brand that makes aftermarket parts.

A company that makes aftermarket parts for Hondas and charges you an arm and a leg for them.
