Hmmmm? That remains to be tested by me. I still contend that VW makes one of the best interiors of any maker, with some of the greatest seats around.

Now that I've got my car in working condition (it's running really well now), I'm trying to sell it and buy a Fit instead. I plan on having the Fit for at least the next 10 years. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I had a 1985 GTi that I put about 70k trouble free miles on in a few years and a 1995 Jetta GLX that I bought in March 1996 and sold in Sept 1999 with 106k, also trouble free (both cars did have minor initial problems with moonroof cable stretching, but that never would have required a wrecker). Loved both of them, but VW has gone too far upmarket for my taste.
