Location of the SRS MES connector found !
Just fixed my SRS light so I now know which connector it is.
I can't upload a picture somehow, and I know that there are several fuse box layouts so I'll just give guidelines to locate it.
It has indeed a yellow end piece, and the connector can only fit up to 2 wires (which it presently does). When you unplug it, you can notice that there are no pins in the fuse box socket (it is a connector that is meant to be jumped so there are no reason to put pins in the socket).
For those who are looking for the procedure to reset the SRS light, put a cable (a paper clip also works, there is no risk of being electrocuted, there will be no current high enough passing through) in each hole of the connector. Keep them disconnected for now.
1. Turn on the ignition and wait a few seconds for all the lights on the dash to update,
2. Connect the two cables you put in the connector for about 6 seconds, until the SRS light turns off,
3. Disconnect the two cables and wait for the SRS light to turn on again,
4. Connect the two cables again, for about 6 seconds, until the SRS light turns off again,
5. Disconnect the cables. The SRS light will blink twice to indicate that it has been reset and will then turn off if there is no bigger issue in the SRS system.
Happy fixing !
