Where will the 2007 US Fit be assembled?
Will the 2007 US Fit be assembled in the US, Canada, or Japan? I think my 2002 Civic was assembled in Canada. I would think this would have some effect on how soon we see them in the US.

Your civic was produced at one of our premier plants in Alliston, Ontario.
I'm very picky to where cars are made, and the Plant location has to have a known reputation for churning out good stuff. Japanese Cars feel good to me when they are manufactured in JAPAN by Japanese with their homegrown good moral, ethics and management style.
I've been eyeing the Nissan Versa but the fact that Mexico will be churning it out is like a cockroach in my soup.

I had a Mexican assembled 1995 Jetta GLX. The only problem I had was with the moonroof cables. They needed several adjustments during the first year or two, but then worked fine. I am not sure if that could be assigned as a fault to the assemblers, because cables stretch. I would still prefer my car assembled in Japan, though.
